Qualifications & Requirements

General Functions

  1. Budget and Commitment:

  • Release of holdbacks

  • Budget changes tracking

  • Commitment monitoring

  1. Decision Making:

  • Reconciliation of supplier payments

  • Report on cash needs for next payment cycle

  • Reclassification of costs from direct to contract

  1. Adhere and comply to corporate internal control policies

  2. Routine or Complext Non-Routin Tasks:

  • Invoices - distribute invoices for coding/ approval, and process cheques

Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Full cycle accounting:

  • AP, GL, and Job Cost modules

  • Consultants and General contractors' contract monitoring

  • Release of Progress claim, Holdback, and Sales Commission

  • Accounting for development project transactions

  • Month-end closing and report generation

  1. Management accounting:

  • Job cost reports

  • Budget tracking, assist with cash forecasting

  • Ad-hoc analysis and reporting

  • LC issuance/tracking/collection

  1. Accounts payable and job costing:

  • Scan invoices

  • Acquire invoice document in TimberScan

  • Filing and document management

  1. GST filing and remittances

  2. Facilitating all other transactions, analysis, and hoc tasks as required by management
